crocheting the world... and other things too
Yet again I decided to get my crochet hooks out and whip up a couple more animals from Edward’s Menagerie for birthday presents. These two are quite a funny pair – Caitlin the Giraffe is a school teacher who loves a gossip, and Hank the Sheep has a wandering eye!
These three are just so cute! They, like Douglas and Angharad, are from Edward’s Menagerie. I made them for the babies of three of my friends at Christmas. In case you cannot tell, they are a tiger, chimp and zebra. I love the detailing such as the hair or tail.
These two are obviously BFFs. You can see from the photos that they are very good friends. Angharad (she is Welsh) and Douglas are from a book called Edward’s Menagerie by Kerry Lord.
Here we have Chris. He is a Pelican. Chris really likes his neighbour Susan the Flamingo but cannot take the hint that she isn’t interested in him. Other than finding new ways of getting Susan’s attention, Chris enjoys playing dominoes. Pattern from Edward’s Menagerie by Kerry Lord.
I would like to introduce a new addition to the stuffed crochet animal family: Susan the Flamingo. She is a very chilled out flamingo who enjoys the odd glass of wine with friends.
