31: Lubina Wrap

This is probably my favourite thing I have crocheted. The pattern requires Manos del Uruguay silk blend yarn plus a 5 mm crochet hook. This yarn is beautiful but quite pricey so I opted for a cheaper version: Rowan Baby Merino Silk DK Yarn, 50g. I needed about 3 balls in each shade (9 total): Sunshine 688, Dawn 672 and Zinc 681. The silk blend yarn makes it quite a luxurious item and it feels so cosy and warm against my skin.

I decided to change the pattern, which I bought from Ravelry, slightly so I had the shell pattern either side of the single crochet block in the middle. I just really loved the look of the shell pattern plus it is so simple to make! It took me HOURS to crochet this scarf though but it was well worth it.
